The Nigerian entertainment industry has been thrown into mourning following the untimely death of Monalisa Stephen, a well-known Nollywood actress and social media influencer.
Monalisa reportedly passed away on Monday, May 13th, in Lagos after a brief but serious health struggle involving low blood sugar and internal bleeding. The sad news was confirmed by her immediate younger sister and shared by Seun Oloketuyi, CEO of Best of Nollywood (BON), via Instagram on Wednesday.
Describing her as a “hardworking and beautiful soul,” Oloketuyi paid tribute to the late actress, whose bold personality and unapologetic media presence made her a controversial yet beloved figure in the Nollywood community.
