Nigeria international Wilfred Ndidi is on the verge of joining Turkish giants Besiktas after Leicester City accepted a €9.5 million offer for the midfielder.

The 28‑year‑old has reportedly agreed personal terms, with a three‑year contract—plus an optional fourth year—already on the table. Besiktas officials are expected to fly him to Istanbul aboard a private jet for medicals, which would mark the end of his illustrious seven‑year spell at Leicester.

Ndidi, who made over 300 appearances for the Foxes, played a pivotal role in their midfield, helping the club win the FA Cup and Community Shield.
While he had been linked with Bayer Leverkusen, Manchester United, Juventus and several Saudi Pro League sides, Besiktas have emerged as favourites, seeing him as a key piece in their bid to challenge for the Turkish Super Lig title next season.
