Tsunami As Bishop Abioye Launches Own Church, Conquerors Global Assembly
By Akpos Oje

Bishop David Abioye, the former Vice President of Living Faith Church (Winners Chapel), has officially launched his own ministry, Conquerors Global Assembly, following his retirement from Winners Chapel in October 2024.

Abioye, who served faithfully under Bishop David Oyedepo for several decades, transitioned into a new phase of ministry after stepping down at the age of 63. His retirement, alongside Pastor Thomas Aremu (67), followed a leadership policy shift within the church that set the retirement age at 55.
Since stepping away from his former role, Bishop Abioye has embraced a fresh mandate through a non-denominational platform. Initially holding evening services and recently announced a major shift — beginning Sunday, May 4, Conquerors Global Assembly will hold Sunday morning worship services at 8:00 AM.
Sharing the update on his official X (formerly Twitter) account, Abioye wrote: “Exciting news! By the grace of God, starting next Sunday, our service is moving to the morning, 8:00 AM. It’s a new day for you — come ready to be blessed mightily in Jesus’ name.”
He continued with an open invitation: “Mark your calendars, set your alarms — we can’t wait to see you there! Tag someone you’re inviting!”
The birth of Conquerors Global Assembly marks a significant new chapter in Bishop Abioye’s ministry journey, signaling his continued passion for preaching, leadership, and spiritual mentorship beyond the walls of Winners Chapel.
