The Armed Forces have intensified operations across the country, rescuing 38 kidnapped victims and arresting 82 suspects, including terrorist collaborators and oil theft perpetrators.
Director of Defence Media Operations, Major General Markus Kangye, disclosed this at a briefing, noting that several terrorists, bandits, and kidnappers were neutralised, while oil theft valued at over ₦37 million was thwarted.

He said troops, supported by air components, carried out raids, ambushes, patrols, and air interdictions, destroying terrorist camps and eliminating Boko Haram, JAS, and ISWAP fighters. He added that the sustained operations have enabled farmers to work without hindrance.

Combined forces in Borno, Adamawa, and Yobe States eliminated terrorists, arrested 16 suspects, and rescued five hostages in Limankara, Pulka-Warabe, Kereto, Jakwa, and other areas. Weapons, ammunition, vehicles, motorcycles, and IEDs were recovered.
Troops of Operation Hadarin Daji conducted missions in Katsina, Sokoto, Zamfara, Kebbi, and Kaduna States, killing terrorists, arresting 11, and rescuing 17 victims. Additional engagements in Sokoto State’s Tangaza and Tureta LGAs also neutralised several insurgents.
North Central:
Operation Safe Haven troops repelled attacks in Plateau, Kaduna, and Bauchi States, killing terrorists, arresting four criminals, and rescuing six victims. A suspected gunrunner concealing an AK-47 and ammunition in a sack of animal feed was intercepted along Kwoi–Keffi Road.
Operation Whirl Stroke troops in Benue, Taraba, Kogi, and the FCT eliminated terrorists, arrested 13 suspects, and freed nine hostages. Two notorious gunrunners were captured in Kogi, while a large ammunition cache was seized from an extremist camp in Taraba.
Operation Delta Safe troops foiled oil theft worth ₦37.5 million, seizing thousands of litres of stolen crude and refined products. They destroyed illegal refining sites and arrested 29 suspects for oil theft, cultism, and kidnapping in Rivers, Delta, and Bayelsa States.
Operation Udoka troops killed terrorists and arrested six suspected IPOB/ESN members and a kidnapper in Imo, Anambra, and Ebonyi States, recovering weapons, ammunition, and vehicles.
Kangye reaffirmed the military’s commitment to sustaining pressure on terrorists, bandits, and other criminals nationwide.
