The Isoko National Youth Assembly (INYA) Worldwide has announced plans for a high-profile public dialogue aimed at influencing policies that shape the future of the Isoko people. The event is scheduled for Thursday, August 14, at the Isoko Youth House (Fred Obe Secretariat) in Ozoro, Isoko North Local Government Area.

According to a joint statement by INYA President, Comrade Eniwake Orogun, and Secretary General, Governor Emumena, the dialogue will bring together key stakeholders, community leaders, and the public for frank discussions on governance, energy challenges, and legislative reforms.

The forum will examine the impact of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s first two years in office on the Isoko people, assess Governor Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori’s contributions to the advancement of the Isoko Nation, review the status of Petroleum Industry Act (PIA) implementation, and explore practical solutions to the region’s persistent electricity crisis.
Comrade Orogun stressed that as one of Nigeria’s foremost onshore crude oil-producing ethnic groups — contributing significantly to the Delta State and national economies — the Isoko people must take an active role in shaping policies that affect their development.
He added that the outcomes of the deliberations will be compiled into a comprehensive position paper to be submitted to both state and federal authorities, with the goal of fostering economic growth and prosperity for the Isoko Nation and Delta State.
The programme will commence at 11:00 a.m. prompt.
